Welcome to the Boardwalk Cafe, your go-to destination for a delightful cafe experience right on the stunning Eastbourne Pier. Nestled along the Lower Promenade, this charming cafe is not only a haven for beachgoers but also a delightful escape for anyone looking to enjoy quality refreshments with a breathtaking sea view.

The Boardwalk Cafe offers a tantalizing array of hot and cold drinks that cater to all preferences. Imagine sipping a piping hot coffee while basking in the sun, or indulging in a chilled drink as the waves gently lap at the shore. Guests rave about the mushroom sausage rolls, cleverly marketed as vegan options, which deliver a satisfying twist on the traditional snack—perfect for those who appreciate a delightful alternative that doesn’t compromise on flavor!

With its relaxed atmosphere, you can easily picture yourself seated on one of the outdoor benches, enjoying the refreshing sea breeze and soaking in the vibrant beach life. However, fair warning: don’t let your food out of sight, or you might find a hungry seagull swooping in for a daring heist! As one reviewer humorously noted, these feathered thieves will snag anything if given half a chance! Yet, the attentive staff are there to ensure you have a lovely experience, ready to replace any lost items with a smile, making the Boardwalk Cafe feel like a home away from home.

Whether you’re stopping by for a mid-stroll pick-me-up or planning a sunny day out with friends, the Boardwalk Cafe is an ideal spot. With accessible vegan milk options, it caters to various dietary preferences, and the buzzing atmosphere is contagious. As Amanda Delmer expresses, it’s a perfect spot for a coffee before or after a leisurely promenade walk.

So, gather your friends or family, and head over to Boardwalk Cafe at Eastbourne Pier. It’s more than just a cafe; it’s an experience where delicious beverages, good company, and stunning seaside views come together, making it an unmissable part of your Eastbourne adventure.

Lovely spot and great staff. Just be aware - don't eat your food on the actual boardwalk or will get dive bombed and have your food stolen by the seagulls even as it is in your hand on your way to your mouth! To be fair I was given a replacement sandwich with no quibbles which I then ate in my car!

We love this place! It's a prime location for sitting on the beachfront and enjoying a coffee or glass of wine. It's usually very busy and you need to watch out for seagulls who would steal your grandmother's teeth if you have them half a chance so hang on to your food!

Love stopping here for a coffee when having a stroll along the seafront. Can recommend the mushroom sausage rolls (labelled as Vegan sausage rolls, but I couldn't find any vegans in there, just mushroom!) as a nice alternative to a normal sausage roll. I'm nowhere near being vegetarian let alone vegan, but they make a nice alternative. Coffee is good, staff are nice and you can pay by card, which makes a nice change from a lot of smaller businesses who inexplicably turn away a £5 sale by not having card processing.

Lovely spot for a coffee, have vegan friendly milk options too. Didn't eat here so can't say if cater for various food intolerances. Ideal during a sunny day before or after a walk on the promenade
